安全性与可用性的平衡
安全更新是最影响兼容性的,微软在IE7中禁用了大量ActiveX controls和其它插件,许多Web站点和服务都需要重新安装甚至升级整套插件.
这使得Internet Explorer 7成为微软被限制得最多的浏览器.
表达问题
当然安全不是唯一的选择,微软还作出了其它改进,例如对CSS层叠样式表单的支持,不像FireFox那样,它是一个非标准的浏览器.它利用了浏览器市场的垄断地位来定义自己的标准.IE7一更新,网页设计师就有的忙,而且到现在为止,CSS的表达还在被许多用户抱怨.
微软已经宣布将在下一个版本中修复CSS问题, 7.5 或 8.0?不知道.
